Vampire: The Masquerade is set in a modern world where vampires operate in secret within human society, ruling from the shadows. The characters must maintain the delicate balance of the unbreakable law of the Masquerade: so their existence must remain hidden from humans.
The setting focuses on political intrigue between Clans, the battle for influence within cities, and the constant conflict between power and the gradual decay of the players’ humanity.
Players are drawn into a world of secret alliances, betrayals, and internal conflicts, where every choice can propel them to the top of society or condemn them to oblivion.
A system of dark personal horror and political tension, where immortality comes at a price and the monster within you is always closer than you think.
