The Lighthouse

A Call of Cthulhu folk horror mini-campaign, in which players travel to an isolated island in the far north of Scotland to investigate what really happened to a lighthouse where those sent there never returned.

Their mission begins as a typical field investigation, and quickly turns into a case of an unexplained phenomenon beyond any logical or scientific explanation. As the investigators get closer to the truth, the island reveals that the isolation is not simply geographical, and the lighthouse seems to function as a hotbed of events that erode perception and reality.

In The Lighthouse, the search for the truth leads to something that should not have been discovered, and every answer comes at a cost to the characters’ mental health.
