A Call of Cthulhu campaign set in 1934 Cyprus. In the Troodos Mountains, during a tense period just before World War II, under British colonial occupation and within the harsh environment of the limestone mines.
Players are members of a lime mine and are called upon to explore old, forgotten and dangerous underground mines, where industrial labor meets something much older and more disturbing than human history itself.
As they descend deeper into the tunnels, the machinery, tunnels and collapses begin to take on an almost organic, hostile presence, while rumors of disappearances and strange happenings among the workers multiply.
Asbestos Mines is an industrial horror campaign, where progress and mining reveal something that should have remained buried, and the real threat lies not on the surface… but beneath it.
