High-level 5e campaign in which players are the villains of the story. Players find their characters imprisoned and accused within a theocratic empire, and condemned as enemies of the faith, in a world where power is exercised through dogmatism, fear, and absolute control.
Escaping prison becomes their first act of freedom, and soon their story turns into a path of revenge, as the characters move to the fringes of the empire, building alliances with dark forces and exploiting every crack in the system.
As the characters grow stronger, their story becomes one of conflict with the very theocratic regime that imprisoned them, with the goal not simply of survival, but of overthrowing and resisting a system that considers their existence a sin.
A campaign of power, revenge, and moral decline, where the heroes don’t save the world but tear it apart piece by piece to build a new one in its place.
